About Me

I can remember sewing doll clothes on my grandmother’s treadle sewing machine at an early age. Through the years I have tried different crafts including ceramics and sewing clothing for my daughter and myself. In the early 1980’s, I sold baby bonnets and bibs at the local craft shows then started sewing dolls and weaving baskets. I took a long break from sewing crafts other then making Christmas gifts for my family and friends. In 1994 I graduted from the local state college with an accounting degree but wanted to be more creative. A few years ago I was inspired to start sewing again after visiting my sister-in-law's local primitive shop. I started sewing dolls and making a few small wood items then started what is now my homespun accessories. I hope you enjoy my table runners as much as my local primitive friends.
